For the longest time, he ignored them. Dreams are but illusions created by the subconcious mind. Lies, memories, and tauntings. It got to the point where, eventually, Saix began to dream about nothing. Nothing of the past, or future. He knew what he wanted.
A heart of his own.
However, now, as he lays himself to sleep, it's the first time in ages he finds himself dreaming.
In his dream, he wakes himself upon a stained glass. Saix whirls around, blinking, disorientated; what is this? As he looks down, it appears to be a design of himself in the middle, back turned and claymore in hand. Circling around the outer rim are the other Organization members, labeled by their numbers. There is a place for number XIV.
But the face is missing.
In the background of the stained glass, there is Kingdom Hearts against the swirl of a nautilus shell.
Isa.
Saix looks up; stairs, somehow. In this vastness of space and darkness. The back of a woman is to him. He knows that blond hair and pink dress.
"Peach?"
...Peach doesn't know that name. Does she?
She doesn't say another word; just turns and smiles to him, holding out her hand. Hesitantly, Saix grasps her hand and follows her up the stairs. Behind him, the stairs begin to crumble as they go up to the next stained glass.
This one is of Saix facing out. No Kingdom Hearts in the background, just Nautilus. Otherwise, it is blank... but slowly, paint seems to be surfacing to the top, in order to give it definition.
Peach squeezes his hand.
Time to open the door, Isa.
In front of him are a pair of doors, waiting to be opened.
Hesitantly, he touches the handle, feeling her grip slipping away. Before Saix can whirl around and see her again, he hears a different voice.
The door has been opened.
Saix wakes up, brows knitted. Saying nothing.
