A new year is suggestive towards hope. However, I wonder how much actual faith I can have in renewel -- and if I believe in it.

Of course, many beliefs have been shaken in much time here.

I also have this ... feeling of being followed around.

In any case, perhaps I simply require some time to think over matters; over dinner usually helps.
